Shirk

In 1992, teenager Sandi Tan shot Singapore s first indie road movie with her enigmatic American mentor Georges – who then vanished with all the footage. Twenty years later, the 16mm film is recovered, sending Tan, now a novelist in Los Angeles, on a personal odyssey in search of Georges vanishing footprints. Shirkers is a 2018 Malayalam-language Drama motion picture featuring Indrans in the title role. Shirkers LLC was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Manu Krishna, Sandi Tan, Jessica Levin and Maya Rudolph. Shirkers is written by Sandi Tan and directed by Manu Krishna and Sandi Tan. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Shirkers was released on 16th March 2018 and takes a screen time of 96 minutes. Cinematography was done by Iris Ng and editing by Lucas Celler , Sandi Tan and Kimberley Hassett. The music was composed by Ishai Adar.
