In America is written by Jim Sheridan, Naomi Sheridan and Kirsten Sheridan and it is directed by Martyn Atkins and Jim Sheridan. Fox Searchlight Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. In America was released on 31st October 2003 and takes a screen time of 105 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. The movie made a box office gross of $25 million. Cinematography was done by Declan Quinn and editing by Naomi Geraghty. The music was composed by Gavin Friday along with Maurice Seezer.
