Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Memphis Belle: A Story of a Flying Fortress was released on 13th April 1944 and takes a screen time of 45 minutes. Cinematography was done by William H. Clothier, William V. Skall, Harold J. Tannenbaum and William Wyler and editing by Lynn Harrison. The music was composed by Gail Kubik.
