The movie Hercules is based on the Greek myth of the same name, following the characters journey to regain his godhood and defeat his uncle, who plots to overthrow Zeus. Hercules is a 1997 American English-language Animation Adventure motion picture starring Tate Donovan, Danny Devito, James Woods, Susan Egan, Rip Torn, Josh Keaton and Neil Ross. The movie is based on Heracles. Hercules was Produced by Alice Dewey Goldstone, John Musker and Ron Clements. Hercules is written by Ron Clements, John Musker, Don Mcenery, Bob Shaw, Irene Mecchi, Kaan Kalyon, Kelly Wightman, Randy Cartwright, John Ramirez, Jeff Snow, Vance Gerry, Kirk Hanson, Tamara Lusher-stocker, Francis Glebas, Mark Kennedy, Bruce Morris, Don Dougherty and Thom Enriquez and it is directed by Ron Clements and John Musker. Buena Vista Pictures Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Hercules was released on 27th June 1997 and takes a screen time of 93 minutes. Hercules was made on a budget of $100 million and at the box office it grossed only $10 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Ron Clements, John Musker, Donald McEnery, Bob Shaw and Irene Mecchi. Editing was done by Tom Finan. The music was composed by Alan Menken.
