Prateeksha

A talented dancer, Vijay, gets killed while trying to protect his wife and friend from harm, leaving his wife accused of a crime and their son alone, but years later, their son grows up to become a street dancer and, with the help of his mother and friend, forms a dance troupe, eventually avenging his fathers death and continuing his musical journey. Prateeksha is a 2006 Indian Hindi-language Romance Drama motion picture starring Jeetendra, Moushumi Chatterjee, Govinda, Shilpa Shirodkar, Jimmy Shergill, Dia Mirza and Raj Singh Verma. Raam Raj Kala Mandhir was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) S. Ramanathan. Prateeksha is written by Talat Rekhi, Indeevar and Prayag Raaj and it is directed by Basu Chatterjee and Lawrence D souza. Prateeksha was released on 1st January 2006 and takes a screen time of 132 mins. Cinematography was done by Lawrence D Souza and editing by A. Paul Durai Singham. The music was composed by Rajesh Roshan.
