The story revolves around the intertwined lives of Chandran, his wife Rema, their daughter Maalu, their neighbor Madhavi who was rejected by her husband and his family, and Madhavis daughter Gauri who initially shows no interest in Manikandans attempts to help her and her mother but later falls in love with Chandran, leading to a major shift in her life.
