Benny Chacko plans to use his dowry to become wealthy, but when his father-in-law fails to provide it, he keeps his relationship with his wife unconsummated until the dowry is arranged, leading to their families disappointment; however, when Daisy wins a lottery, Benny attempts to win her back, but she rejects him and he suspects she is considering remarriage, while Bennys sister starts dating Roshan, and despite initial resistance, their families eventually agree to their marriage with a dowry of ten lakh rupees, which Benny is unable to arrange, until Daisy surprises everyone by providing the dowry, making Benny regret his mistreatment and leading to their reconciliation. Bhagyadevatha is a 2009 Indian Malayalam-language Comedy Drama film featuring Venu Nagavalli, Nedumudi Venu, Jayaram Subramaniam, Kanika Venkatasubramaniam, Chempil Asokan, Resmi Boban and Innocent Vareed Thekkethala. Bhagyadevatha was Produced by M. M. Hamsa and Saifudeen Ar. Bhagyadevatha is written by Sathyan Anthikad, Rajesh Jayaraman, M.m. Hamsa and Sathyan Anthikkad and it is directed by Sathyan Anthikad and Sathyan Anthikkad. Kalasangham Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Bhagyadevatha was released on 22nd May 2009. Bhagyadevatha was made on a budget of ₹2 crore. Cinematography was done by Venu and editing by K. Rajagopal. The music was composed by National Award winner Ilaiyaraaja.
