A cable TV businessmans family gets into trouble when they accidentally kill a boy who took an inappropriate photo of one of the girls in their family during a school nature camp. Drishyam is a 2013 Indian Malayalam-language Crime Drama motion picture starring Asha Sarath, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Siddique, Mohanlal Viswanathan, Meena Durairaj and Anshiba. Aashirvad Cinemas was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Antony Perumbavoor. The film is written and directed by Jeethu Joseph. Maxlab Cinemas and Entertainments acquired the distribution rights for the film. Drishyam was released on 18th July 2013 and takes a screen time of 164 minutes. Drishyam was made on a budget of ₹62 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹68 crore. Cinematography was done by Sujith Vaassudev and editing by Ayoob Khan. The music was composed by Anil Johnson. At the 2014 It won 3 awards including: Best Actor in a Negative Role (Kalabhavan Shajon), Best Film and Best Director. At the 2014 South Filmfare Awards It also won 2 awards including: Best Supporting Actress (Asha Sarath) and Best Film.
