Nethiyadi

A carefree youth named Venu falls in love with his distant relative Banu, but her father cancels their marriage because Venu is not wealthy; however, after Venu saves the life of a government officials daughter, she helps him stage a drama to appear rich, leading to a change of heart from Banus father and a happy ending for Venu and Banu. Nethiyadi is a 1988 Indian Tamil-language Drama Comedy motion picture featuring Pandiarajan, Vaishnavi, Vijaya Chandrika, Janagaraj, Kuyili, Aachi Manorama and Amala Akkineni. Avinash Arts was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Avinashimani. The motion picture is written and directed by Pandiarajan. Nethiyadi was released on 1st January 1989 and takes a screen time of 134 minutes. Cinematography was done by Ashok Kumar and editing by V. Rajagopal. The music was composed by National Award winner Ilaiyaraaja along with Pandiarajan.
