Jeans

The story follows an Indian American family as Visu falls in love with Madhu, but faces objections from his father who wants his sons to marry identical twin girls, until an elaborate lie about Madhus twin leads to a trip to India and the eventual reconciliation and marriage of Visu and Madhu. Jeans is a 1998 Indian Tamil-language Comedy Drama film starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Nassar, Lakshmi, Prashanth Thiagarajan, Nasser, Senthil and Ram Ramachandran. Amritraj Solomon Communications was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Sunanda Murali Manohar and Ashok Amritraj. Jeans is written by S. Shankar and Balakumaran and it is directed by S. Shankar. Aascar Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Jeans was released on 24th April 1998 and takes a screen time of 172 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Jeans was made on a budget of ₹20 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹35 crore. Cinematography was done by Ashok Kumar and editing by B. Lenin and V.
