Lelam

Captain Jacob Stephan, accompanied by his friend Karimbanadan Sunny, takes over his fathers liquor baron business after his father is murdered, and seeks revenge on the Kadayadi and Kunnel families while investigating the case himself, resulting in the deaths of several enemies and his ultimate act of revenge. Lelam is a 1997 Indian Malayalam-language Action Thriller film featuring Suresh Gopi, M.g. Soman, Siddique, N. F. Varghese, Nandini, Spadikam George and Subair. Seven Arts Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Seven Arts Films and G.p. Vijayakumar. Lelam is written by Nithin Renji Panicker and Renji Panicker and it is directed by Joshiy. Seven Arts International Ltd. acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Lelam was released on 18th October 1997 and takes a screen time of 180 minutes. Cinematography was done by Sanjeev Shankar and editing by K. Sankunni. The music was composed by S.p. Venkatesh along with Ouseppachan.
