Liberty Productions acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Nair Saab was released on 8th September 1989. The Film was successful at box office. Nair Saab was made on a budget of ₹0 lakh and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹2 crore. Cinematography was done by Jayanan Vincent and Anandakuttan and editing by K. Sankunni. The music was composed by S. P. Venkatesh.
