Meera and Sakthivel raise their neighbors son after his mother dies, but when Meera unexpectedly becomes pregnant, the familys focus shifts to the unborn child, causing the son to feel neglected and leading to a tragic accident, resulting in his imprisonment; however, upon his release, his family supports him and he happily reunites with them and his new baby brother. Kannadi Pookkal is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language Drama film featuring Kaveri, Sarath Babu, Anand Raj, Nizhalgal Ravi and R Parthiban. The movie is inspired from Ente Veedu Appuvinteyum.
