Muthu is a 1995 Indian Tamil-language Action Comedy film starring Rajinikanth, Sarath Babu, Meena Durairaj, Senthil, Radha Ravi, Raghuvaran and Kumarimuthu. The movie is inspired from Thenmavin Kombath. Kavithalayaa Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Rajam Balachander and Pushpa Kandaswamy. Muthu is written by K.s. Ravikumar and A.r. Rahman and it is directed by K.s. Ravikumar and K. S. Ravikumar. Sivasakthi Movie Makers acquired the distribution rights for the film. Muthu was released on 23rd October 1995 and takes a screen time of 165 minutes. The film made a box office gross of ₹30 lakh. The screenplay for the movie was written by K. S. Ravikumar.
