Thambi fights against crime, saves a girl from being molested, and seeks to stop Sankara Pandians criminal activities while falling in love with Archana, eventually leading to Sankaras realization of his wrongful acts and Thambi and Archanas reunion. Thambi is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language Drama Thriller movie featuring Vadivelu, Biju Menon, R Madhavan, Pooja Umashankar, S Manivannan Rajagopal, Manobala and Ranjubhai. Motion Picture Partners was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Mani Ratnam, Sunanda Murali Manohar and Murali Manohar. The motion picture is written and directed by Seeman. Mid Valley Entertainment Ltd acquired the distribution rights for the film. Thambi was released on 22nd February 2006 and takes a screen time of 138 minutes. Cinematography was done by Balasubramaniem and editing by N. Ganesh Kumar. The music was composed by Vidyasagar.
