Drishyam

A cable network operator in a village adopts the personas of movie characters, but when his daughter accidentally kills someone, he takes his family on a trip to create an alibi, only to be caught by the police, who later discover evidence that implicates someone else, leading to the suspension of a corrupt police officer and the resignation of an Inspector-General. Drishyam is a 2014 Indian Telugu-language Drama Family film featuring Venkatesh Daggubati, Meena Durairaj, Nadhiya Moidu, Venkat Siddareddy, Naresh Vijaya, Venkateswara Rao Paruchuri and Meesam Suresh. Suresh Productions in association with Rajkumar Theatres Pvt Ltd and Wide Angle Creations. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) D. Suresh Babu and Rajkumar Sethupathi. Drishyam is written by Gopalakrishna Paruchuri, Venkateswara Rao Paruchuri, Paruchuri Brothers, Jeethu Joseph, Venkat Siddareddy, Darling Swami and darling Swamy and it is directed by Sripriya Raj Kumar. Drishyam was released on 11th July 2014 and takes a screen time of 150 minutes. Drishyam was made on a budget of ₹62 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹68 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Jeethu Joseph. Cinematography was done by S. Gopal Reddy and editing by Marthand K. Venkatesh. The music was composed by Sharreth Vasudevan.
