In a family facing financial troubles, Raghavendra is respected for his efforts to overcome them and marries Anjali after being rejected by his first love, Padma, while Vishnu feels underappreciated and tensions rise due to his wife Kalyanis insistence that he start his own store, but in the end, the family starts a rice mill and Raghavendra helps Chinna and Kaveri to convince her father to allow their marriage, leading to a happy ending.
