Akshay Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Saraswathi Srikanth. The movie is directed by Kasthuri Raja. Kalasangham Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Dreams was released on 12th December 2003. Dreams was made on a budget of $15 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $15 million. Cinematography was done by Kichas. The music was composed by Bharathwaj.
