Notes On a Scandal

A bitter and unmarried history teacher named Barbara forms a friendship with a new art teacher, Sheba, but discovers that Sheba is having a sexual relationship with a student; Barbara confronts Sheba and manipulates the situation, leading to the affair becoming public and both teachers losing their jobs, ultimately causing Sheba to leave Barbara for her family while Barbara continues to seek connection with others involved in the affair.
