Angelas Ashes is a 1999 English-language Drama movie starring Emily Watson, Robert Carlyle, Joe Breen, Ciaran Owens, Michael Legge, Ronnie Masterson and Viviana Verveen. The movie is inspired from Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt. Paramount Pictures in association with Universal Pictures, Scott Rudin Productions, David Brown Productions and Dirty Hands Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) David Brown and Scott Rudin. The movie is directed by Alan Parker. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Angelas Ashes was released on 3rd February 2000 and takes a screen time of 145 minutes. Angelas Ashes was made on a budget of $50 million and at the box office it grossed only $13 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Laura Jones and Alan Parker. Cinematography was done by Michael Seresin and editing by Gerry Hambling. The music was composed by John Williams.
