One is a biographical documentary about Taylor Swifts growth as a singer-songwriter and the evolution of her sound, while the other, a TV series titled Mrs. America, dramatizes the push for the Equal Rights Amendment in the 1970s and the opposition generated by conservative activist Phyllis Schlafly, focused on how this political and cultural battle shaped American history and continued the fight for gender equality. Mrs. America is a 2020 American English-language Biography Drama series starring Kristen Wiig, Laura Dern, Allison Janney, Leslie Bibb, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas and John Palladino. The series is inspired from Mr. & Mrs. American Pie by Juliet McDaniel. Shiny Penny Productions in association with Dirty Films, Gowanus Projections, Federal Engineering and FXP. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Micah Schraft, Tanya Barfield and Boo Killebrew. The series is directed by Tate Taylor. Series originally aired on Apple TV+. Creator of the series is Abe Sylvia. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. The music was composed by Kris Bowers along with Walter Murphy.
