A couple desperate to fund their daughters college education start an illegal casino operation in their friends house, facing various obstacles and run-ins with the authorities, but ultimately succeed in stealing money from a corrupt councilor to pay for their daughters tuition. The House is a 2017 American English-language Comedy Crime motion picture featuring Will Ferrell, Amy Poehler, Jason Mantzoukas, Nick Kroll, Jeremy Renner, Ryan Simpkins and Kimya Mallory. New Line Cinema in association with Village Roadshow Pictures, Gary Sanchez Productions and Good Universe. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Adam Mckay, Andrew Jay Cohen, Brendan O brien, Joseph Drake, Nathan Kahane, Will Ferrell, Joe Drake and Jessica Elbaum. The House is written by Brendan O brien and Andrew Jay Cohen and it is directed by Andrew Jay Cohen. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The House was released on 29th June 2017 and takes a screen time of 88 minutes. The House was made on a budget of $40 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. Cinematography was done by Jas Shelton and editing by Evan Henke and Mike Sale. The music was composed by Andrew Feltenstein along with John Nau.
