Suburbicon

In the late spring of 1959, the arrival of an African-American family in the neighborhood of Suburbicon disrupts the peaceful atmosphere, leading to a series of events including a home invasion, murder, impersonation, blackmail, poisoning attempts, and ultimately the demise of the culprits, while a young boy survives and finds friendship amidst a community cleanup after a riot. Suburbicon is a 2017 American English-language Crime Drama motion picture starring Matt Damon, Julianne Moore, Noah Jupe, Oscar Isaac, Steve Monroe, Gavin Wilde and George Todd Mclachlan. Paramount Pictures in association with Black Bear Pictures, Silver Pictures and Smoke House Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) George Clooney, Grant Heslov, Teddy Schwarzman and Joel Silver. Suburbicon is written by Ethan Coen, George Clooney, Grant Heslov and Joel Coen and it is directed by George Clooney. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Suburbicon was released on 9th November 2017 and takes a screen time of 105 minutes. Suburbicon was made on a budget of $25 million and at the box office it grossed only $12 million. Cinematography was done by Robert Elswit and editing by Stephen Mirrione. The music was composed by Academy Award Oscar winner Alexandre Desplat.
