A French-Canadian girl is a champion bronc rider and is also a nightclub singer. An ambitious young man s her act one night and is struck by her talent, realizing that she is good enough to become a Broadway star. He convinces her to accompany him to New York, where she indeed does become a Broadway star. However, the young man finds himself being squeezed out by greedy Broadway producers who the talented young girl as their own personal gold mine. The Girl from Calgary is written by Lee Chadwick, Leon D usseau and Sid Schlager and it is directed by Phil Whitman. Monogram Studios acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Girl from Calgary was released on 24th October 1932 and takes a screen time of 64 minutes. Cinematography was done by Harry Neumann and editing by Carl Pierson. The music was composed by Albert Hay Malotte.
