A police officer named Subramani shoots a criminal, faces consequences from superiors, and decides to help a young man find his missing grandmother only to discover a family seeking her wealth; however, they eventually find her, she passes away, and amidst chaos, a missing thandatti causes accusations until they realize Thangaponnus insurance policy has matured, bringing them joy, but it is revealed that Subramani is actually Thangaponnus long lost love Veera. Thandatti is a 2023 Indian Tamil-language Comedy Thriller film starring Rohini, Vivek Prasanna, Ammu Abhirami, Deepa Shankar, Pasupathy Ramasaamy, Ammu Abirami and Meenal. Prince Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) S Lakshman Kumar, S. Lakshman Kumar and Venkatesh. The film is written and directed by Ram Sangaiah. AV MEDIA Consultancy acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Thandatti was released on 23rd June 2023. Cinematography was done by Mahesh Muthuswami and editing by Shivanandeeswaran.
