Suryan

A rich man with a good heart fall in love with a poor girl. She marries him only aiming at his money. It took some time and some events until he discovers the truth. Suryan is a 1982 Indian Malayalam-language movie starring Mohanlal, Kanchan, Adoor Bhasi, Jayabharathi Nair, Prem Nazir, Srividya Krishnamurthy and M.g. Soman. Sithara Combines was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Suresh Balaje. The movie is directed by Sangeeth Sivan. Pranamam Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Suryan was released on 4th April 1982 and takes a screen time of 155 minutes. Suryan was made on a budget of $60 million and at the box office it grossed only $42 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Dennis Joseph. Cinematography was done by Santosh Sivan and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad. The music was composed by S. P. Venkatesh.
