In 1989 Texas, a former Nazi war criminal kills a lesbian couple after rejection, leading to a chain of events involving the discovery of a puppet connected to the criminal, uncovering a horrifying past, experiencing strange events at an auction, witnessing more hate crime murders, narrowly escaping sentient puppet attacks, and ultimately being haunted by the experiences.
