During Hotel Transylvanias anniversary celebration, Mavis discovers Draculas retirement plans and shares with Johnny her excitement about renovating the hotel, but Dracula deceives Johnny to prevent the renovation, resulting in both Dracula and Johnny turning into humans; they later embark on a journey to restore normalcy, reconciling their differences along the way, and ultimately rebuild the hotel.
