Petes Dragon is a movie about a young orphan boy who befriends a green-furred dragon, and together they face threats to their family before finding a happy ending. Petes Dragon is a 2016 American English-language Adventure Family movie featuring Bryce Dallas Howard, Oakes Fegley, Wes Bentley, Karl Urban, Oona Laurence, Robert Redford and Lucy Borlase. The movie is based on Pete s Dragon by Malcolm Marmorstein. Petes Dragon was Produced by James Whitaker. Petes Dragon is written by David Lowery, Toby Halbrooks, Malcolm Marmorstein, Seton I. Miller and S.s. Field and it is directed by David Lowery. Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Petes Dragon was released on 1st September 2016 and takes a screen time of 103 minutes. Petes Dragon was made on a budget of $65 million and at the box office it grossed only $39 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by David Lowery and Toby Halbrooks. Cinematography was done by Bojan Bazelli and editing by Lisa Zeno Churgin. The music was composed by Daniel Hart.
