A family in Kochi, guided by the wise grandmother Susamma, helps their repressed mother-in-law Leelamma find closure and fulfillment in her life by completing her bucket list and ultimately starting a program to grant wishes for abandoned elders. Oru Muthassi Gadha is a 2016 Indian Malayalam-language Comedy Drama motion picture starring Rajini Chandy, Bhagyalakshmi, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Aparna Balamurali, Rajeev Pillai, Lena Abhilash and Manoj Jose Kanjookkaran. AVA Productions in association with E4 Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Mukesh R. Mehta, A. V. Anoop and Mukesh R. Mehtha. Oru Muthassi Gadha is written by Jude Anthany Joseph, K.r. Mani and Mukesh R. Mehta and it is directed by Jude Anthany Joseph. E4 Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Oru Muthassi Gadha was released on 14th September 2016. Cinematography was done by Vinod Ellamppilly and editing by Lijo Paul. The music was composed by Shaan Rahman.
