Kalimannu

A club dancer in Mumbai dreams of becoming an actress but faces deception from film producers, leading her to contemplate suicide until a taxi driver enters her life, and they get married; tragedy strikes on the day of her film debut when the husband is declared brain dead, leaving her alone to fight for her rights as a parent. Kalimannu is a 2013 Indian Malayalam-language Drama Family movie featuring Swetha Menon, Biju Menon, Suhasini Maniratnam, Prashant Nair, Shwetha Menon, Valsala Menon and Deedi Damodaran. Cherummuttadathu Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Thomas Thiruvalla. The motion picture is written and directed by Blessy. Kochin Talkies acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Kalimannu was released on 22nd August 2013. Cinematography was done by Satheesh Kurup and editing by Raja Mohammed. The music was composed by M. Jayachandran along with O. N. V. Kurup.
