The story follows Elsamma, a newspaper agent in Balanpillai City, Kerala, who is caught up in conflicts with a local toddy shop owner, a Panchayat member, and her own feelings for her close friend Palunni, ultimately leading to forgiveness, reconciliation, and a confession of love.
