A corrupt politicians son-in-law conspires to disrupt the peace and manipulate the situation against the current Chief Minister, but an honest youth leader fights against his familys agenda, brings the matter to court, and eventually becomes a minister, only to discover that his brother-in-law was the true mastermind behind his fathers misdeeds. Kanagarathna Movies was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Singanamala Ramesh. Nam Naadu is written by Ramesh Khanna and directed by Suresh. Kanagarathna Movies acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Nam Naadu was released on 21st September 2007. The screenplay for the movie was written by Suresh. Cinematography was done by Y. N.
