Naina loses her sight during a solar eclipse, gets a corneal transplant, regains her sight, experiences visions, learns about her donors life, and eventually loses her sight again. Naina is a 2005 Indian Hindi-language Drama Horror motion picture featuring Urmila Matondkar, Anuj Sawhney, Amardeep Sinha, Shweta Konnur, Kamini Khanna, Malavika Konnur and Amarjeet Jha. The movie is inspired from The Eye by Pang brothers. Naina was Produced by Rakesh Mehra, Sagar Pandya and Anjum Rajabali. Naina is written by Shripal Morakhia, Sagar Pandya, Danny Pang, Oxide Chun Pang and Anjum Rajabali and it is directed by Shripal Morakhia. iDream Productions acquired the distribution rights for the film. Naina was released on 20th May 2005 and takes a screen time of 103 minutes. Naina was made on a budget of ₹5 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹4 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Shripal Morakhia. Cinematography was done by C.K. Muralidharan and editing by Amitabh Shukla and Sanjay Shukla. The music was composed by Filmfare Award winner Salim Merchant along with Sulaiman Merchant and Salim Sulaiman.
