Mohabbath

The movie tells the story of two cousins, Anwar and Sajna, and how Sajna falls in love with her college-mate Ameer despite being engaged to Anwar, but eventually, Ameer saves Sajnas family from poverty and proposes to her through proper channels after her wedding is cancelled, and Anwar returns unexpectedly. Mohabbath is a 2011 Indian Malayalam-language Drama Romance film featuring Meera Jasmine, Ashokan Ae, Chempil Asokan, Biyon Gemini, Devan Sreenivasan, Shivaji Guruvayoor and Nedumudi Venu. The movie is inspired from Kalippavakal by Siddique Shameer. East Coast Communications was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) East Coast Vijayan. Mohabbath is written by Vijayan East Coast and Siddique Shameer and it is directed by Vijayan East Coast and East Coast Vijayan. East Coast Release acquired the distribution rights for the film. Mohabbath was released on 29th April 2011. Cinematography was done by Jibu Jacob and editing by P. C. Mohanan. The music was composed by S. Balakrishnan along with K. A. Latheef.
