A girl with a sun allergy falls in love with a boy, hides her condition from him, has adventures together, but her health worsens and she dies, leaving the boy a letter to follow his dreams. The movie is based on A Song to the Sun by Kenji Bando. Boies / Schiller Film Group in association with Rickard Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jen Gatien, John Rickard and Zack Schiller. Midnight Sun is written by Eric Kirsten and directed by Scott Speer. Global Road Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Midnight Sun was released on 5th April 2018 and takes a screen time of 91 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Midnight Sun was made on a budget of $2 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $7 million. Cinematography was done by Karsten Gopinath and editing by Michelle Harrison and Tia Nolan.
