Kirayadar

In a city of migrants, a woman and her daughter struggle to find accommodation, but have been renting a flat at a surprisingly low rent of Rs.500 for 15 years, until the son of their landlord comes to stay with them. Kirayadar is a 1986 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama movie starring Shane Nigam, Ann Sheetal, Raj Babbar, Padmini Kolhapure, Utpal Dutt, Vidya Sinha and Deepak Qazir. AVA Productions in association with E4 Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Mukesh R Mehta, A.v. Anoop and C.v. Sarathi. Kirayadar is written by Mayah Balse, Basu Chatterjee, Keka Chatterjee, B.r. Chopra and Ratheesh Ravi and it is directed by Basu Chatterjee and Anuraj Manohar. Kirayadar was released on 19th May 1986 and takes a screen time of 134 minutes. Cinematography was done by Ansarsha and editing by Kiran Das. The music was composed by Bappi Lahiri along with Jakes Bejoy.
