After a series of personal and professional difficulties, Shakthi meets Anjali on a train, and their friendship blossoms as they both help each other overcome their problems, leading to Shakthi falling in love with Anjali and ultimately being united with her. Kanden Kadhalai is written by Imtiaz Ali, R. Kannan, Pattukottai Prabhakar, Dhananjayan G., V.m. Lalitha and Pattukkottai Prabakar and it is directed by R. Kannan. Sun Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Kanden Kadhalai was released on 30th October 2009. The screenplay for the movie was written by Kannan. Cinematography was done by P. G. Muthiah and editing by Kola Bhaskar. The music was composed by Vidyasagar.
