Genova

After king Cipresso goes to war, his pregnant wife Genova is falsely accused and imprisoned by Minister Golo, who takes over the kingdom, but with the help of loyal servants and her son, Genova is ultimately vindicated and the true villain Golo is defeated. Genova is a 1953 Indian Tamil-language film featuring M. G. Ramachandran, B. S. Saroja, P. S. Veerappa and M. G. Chakrapani. Chandra Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) E. P. Eppan. Genova is written by Swami Brahmavruthan, Suratha, Elangovan and Nedumaran and it is directed by F. Nagoor. Chandra Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Genova was released on 1st January 1953. The motion picture made a box office gross of ₹1 crore. Cinematography was done by Jithan Banerjee and G. Vittal Rao and editing by N. B. Nataraja Mudaliar. The music was composed by M. S. Viswanathan along with M. S. Gnanamani and T. A. Kalyanam.
