Mangayarkarasi

A woman from heaven takes a prince to her celestial dwelling, and despite being wrongly accused, the princes wife finds refuge among a tribe and gives birth to her child, only for the heavenly woman to reunite with her husband and resolve everything in a happy ending for everyone. Mangayarkarasi is a 1949 Indian Tamil-language film starring P. U. Chinnappa, P. Kannamba, Anjali Devi, N. S. Krishnan and T. A. Mathuram. The movie is based on A folk tale. Bhagya Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) F. Nagoor and S. N. Ahmed. Mangayarkarasi is written by Suratha and directed by Jiten Banerjee.
