A police officer investigates a series of brutal murders of young girls and forms a bond with a teacher and her hearingspeech-impaired niece, ultimately discovering the murderer is a man with progeria who was previously bullied and ultimately apprehending him. Cuttputlli is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language Crime Drama film featuring Akshay Kumar, Rakul Preet Singh, Chandrachur Singh, Sargun Mehta, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Sargun Mehta Dubey and Anna Satchit. The movie is based on Ratsasan by Ram Kumar. Pooja Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh. The movie is directed by Ranjit M. Tewari. Disney+ Hotstar acquired the distribution rights for the film. Cuttputlli was released on 2nd September 2022 and takes a screen time of 134 minutes.
