In response to the Fukushima disaster, Yama-san is running an election campaign with an anti-nuclear message. But unlike last time, he has no money, no machine, no nothing. Does he even stand a chance? On March 11, 2011, Japan experienced one of the most calamitous nuclear disasters in history. But in two national elections following the accident, the pro-nuclear Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) achieved landslide victories, gaining control of the two parliaments. Why? Campaign 2 by Kazuhiro Soda observes a small local election right after the disaster and gives insight into this difficult question, presenting a microcosm of Japan s political-psychological landscape. Written by Anonymous Campaign 2 is a 2013 American English-language Documentary Comedy movie starring Will Ferrell, Zach Galifianakis, Kazuhiko Yamauchi, Sayuri Yamauchi and Yuki Yamauchi. Gary Sanchez Productions in association with Everyman Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jay Roach, Adam Mckay, Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis. The movie is directed by Jay Roach. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Campaign 2 was released on 6th June 2013 and takes a screen time of 85-95 minutes. Campaign 2 was made on a budget of $95 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $104 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Chris Henchy and Shawn Harwell. Cinematography was done by Jim Denault and editing by Craig Alpert and Jon Poll. The music was composed by Theodore Shapiro.
