Imagenation Abu Dhabi in association with Troublemaker Studios and Media Rights Capital. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Robert Rodriguez and Elizabeth Avell N. Shorts is written by Robert Rodriguez and Álvaro Rodríguez and it is directed by Robert Rodriguez. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Shorts was released on 1st October 2009 and takes a screen time of 89 minutes. Shorts was made on a budget of ₹50 lakh and it was a hit at box office gross of $5 million. Cinematography was done by Robert Rodriguez and editing by Ethan Maniquis and Robert Rodriguez. The music was composed by George Oldziey along with Robert Rodriguez and Carl Thiel.
