A Special Agent races to save his daughter with leukemia, but is ambushed and injured, returning thirteen years later to track down the source of a book and teaming up with a partner to rescue his now-imprisoned daughter and thwart the extraction of her regenerative blood. Bleeding Steel is a 2018 Chinese Mandarin-language Action Sci-Fi film starring Jackie Chan, Show Lo, Erica Xia-hou, Ouyang Nana, Callan Mulvey, Tess Haubrich and Anthony Wong. Heyi Pictures in association with Perfect Village Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Paul Currier, Jackie Chan and Jaycee Chan. Bleeding Steel is written by Leo Zhang, Erica Xia-hou and Siwei Cui and it is directed by Leo Zhang. Lionsgate Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Bleeding Steel was released on 22nd December 2017 and takes a screen time of 110 minutes. Bleeding Steel was made on a budget of $65 million and at the box office it grossed only $48 million. Cinematography was done by Tony Cheung and editing by Kwong Chi-leung. The music was composed by Zhao Yingjun along with Peng Fei.
