A reporter investigates the illegal poaching of Tibetan antelope with a group of vigilantes, experiencing hardship and loss along the way, but ultimately leading to the preservation of Kekexili and an increase in antelope numbers. Kekexili is a 2004 Chinese Mandarin-language Action Drama movie featuring Qi Liang, Tobgyal, Duobujie, Lei Zhang, Liang Qi, Xueying Zhao and Zhanlin Ma. Kekexili was Produced by Du Yang and Wang Zhonglei. The film is written and directed by Chuan Lu and Lu Chuan. Huayi Brothers acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Kekexili was released on 1st October 2004 and takes a screen time of 90 minutes. Kekexili was made on a budget of $1 million. Cinematography was done by Cao Yu. The music was composed by Zai Lao.
