Bandhanaya

A feud between two witch doctor families in a remote village escalates when one uses occult powers to kill the other, only to have a child from one of the families become possessed by a demon, causing chaos and pitting the families against each other while exploring themes of family, inheritance, and supernatural forces. Bandhanaya is a 2017 Sinhala-language Horror film starring Cyril Wickramage, Hemal Ranasinghe, Dulani Anuradha, Liyoni Kothalawala, Priyankara Rathnayake, Saheli Satharasinghe and Ravindra Yasas. Dil Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Udayakantha Warnasuriya. Bandhanaya is written by Indika Rathnayake and directed by Udayakantha Warnasuriya. CEL Theatres acquired the distribution rights for the film. Bandhanaya was released on 7th April 2017. Cinematography was done by K.D Dayananda and editing by Pravin Jayaratne. The music was composed by Nadun Rathnayake.
