A group of scientists travel to a distant moon, LV-223, and unintentionally unleash dangerous creatures while trying to uncover the origins of humanity. Prometheus is a 2012 English-language Adventure Mystery film starring Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-green, Charlize Theron and Arnold Montey. Scott Free Productions in association with Brandywine Productions and Dune Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) David Giler, Walter Hill and Ridley Scott. Prometheus is written by Jon Spaihts, Damon Lindelof, Dan O bannon and Ronald Shusett and it is directed by Ridley Scott. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the film. Prometheus was released on 7th June 2012 and takes a screen time of 124 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Prometheus was made on a budget of $130 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $403 million. Cinematography was done by Dariusz Wolski and editing by Pietro Scalia. The music was composed by Marc Streitenfeld.
