Air Devils

Two bickering ex-marine pilots, Horseshoe Donovan (Larry Blake) and Slats Harrrington, looking for further adventures, following their discharge from the Marine Corps. sign on as flying policeman for the dictator of a banana-republic south sea island during a rebellion against El Presidento (Michael Visaroff) and his hirelings. Between fighting over the same girl, Marcia Bradford, who may not be what she appears to be, they soon realize they are on the wrong side of the conflict. Written by Les Adams Air Devils is a 1938 American English-language Action Adventure movie starring Larry J. Blake, Dick Purcell, Beryl Wallace, Mamo Clark, Minerva Urecal, Charles Brokaw and Carleton Young. The movie is based on original story The Fighting Marines by Harold Buckley. Universal Pictures Co. was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Trem Carr and Paul Malvern. Air Devils is written by Harold Buckley and George Waggner and it is directed by John Rawlins. Universal Pictures Co. acquired the distribution rights for the film.
