A presidential bodyguard is assigned to protect an objecting first lady, as repeated attempts are made on her life. Assassination is a 1987 American English-language Action Drama motion picture featuring Charles Bronson, Jill Ireland, Stephen Elliott, Jan Gan Boyd, Randy Brooks, Michael Ansara and Kyle J. Wood. The movie is based on novel My Affair with the President s Wife by Richard Sale. Raghavendra Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Pancho Kohner. Assassination is written by Richard Sale and directed by Peter R. Hunt. Cannon Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Assassination was released on 9th January 1987 and takes a screen time of 105 minutes.
