When Lisa Tepes, beloved wife of Vlad Tepes AKA Dracula is acused of witchcraft and burned at the stake by an overzealous bishop, Dracula declares war on the people of Wallachia and unleashes an army of murderous demonic creatures from hell. Luckily, Trevor Belmont, last survivor of the Belmont clan, a disgraced family known for hunting all kinds of monsters, is still in town and agrees to take the fight to the lord of vampires. Written by Ricky Lyon Castlevania is a 2017 American English-language Animation Action series featuring Richard Armitage, James Callis, Alejandra Reynoso, Graham Mctavish, Tony Amendola, Matt Frewer and Dave B. Mitchell. The series is based on Castlevania by Konami. Frederator Studios in association with Powerhouse Animation Studios, Shankar Animation, Project 51 Productions and Mua Film. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Toshiyuki Hiruma, Maki Terashima, Brad Graeber and Jason Williams. Castlevania is written by Warren Ellis and directed by Sam Deats, Adam Deats and Spencer Wan. The series premiered on July 7, 2017 in English on Netflix. Netflix Streaming Services acquired the distribution rights for the television show. Creators of the series include Adi Shankar and Warren Ellis. Castlevania has 3 seasons and a cumulative total of 22 episodes which have a running time of 23-31 minutes each. The music was composed by Trevor Morris.
